K.RF.2.d-1 State the initial sounds in 3-phoneme words
How you can help: Ask your child what sound a word begins with.
K.RF.2.a-1 Identify when words rhyme when given a spoken prompt.
How you can help: Read rhyming books with your child. Dr. Seuss books are great for this skill.
K.L.1.a-1 Print 50 % of uppercase letters
How you can help: Practice writing letters at home. Start with the letters in his/her name.
K.L.1.a-2 Print 50 % of lowercase letters
K.RL.3.b With prompting and support, identify characters in a story.
How you can help: Read, read, read and talk about the stories you read.
K.RF.1.d-1 Identify orally at least 50% of uppercase letters in random order.
How you can help: Practice naming letters at home. Start with the letters in his/her name.
